Full Tilt Poker may trail PokerStars in terms of player traffic and world popularity, but they are doing everything in their power to catch up. Some of the tactics they’ve tried include signing deals with rugby and mixed martial arts promotions such as the UFC. And so far, Full Tilt has been very successful in advertising their site around the world. But they aren’t going to stop whoring their logo out because they recently signed a new deal with Formula 1 racing team Virgin Racing.

As part of the deal, Full Tilt will get their logo on the Virgin Racing cars, drivers’ uniforms, and the VR team. Virgin Racing is one of the most successful F1 teams in the world, and they have gained extra clout since their owner is eccentric billionaire and thrill-seeker Richard Branson.

Chris “Jesus” Ferguson was really excited about the deal and said, “With two leaders in their respective fields coming together, this is sure to be a groundbreaking partnership on the global canvas, providing yet another level of excitement for all fans. We are very excited to be associated with such a stellar brand as Virgin Racing, and we look forward to launching this partnership in Spain.”

As Ferguson alluded to, the deal will begin when the VR drivers are wearing Full Tilt logos all over their uniforms. Since F1 has a highly predominant European fan base, Full Tilt is obviously looking to draw more players from Europe to their site. Their campaigns with MMA and rugby have drawn new players from both America and Australia. So it will certainly be interesting to see if this Formula 1 advertising campaign pays off the same way.
