Although Tiger Woods has lost plenty of sponsors over the past several months due to his kinky sex scandal, he must not be hurting for money too badly since he just turned down a $75 million sponsorship deal from a poker company.  The poker company in question is Paddy Power, which is an Irish poker site that’s looking to land a huge star to be the face of their company. The $75 million was to be offered over a 5 year period and for those of you who are good at math, that’s $15 million a year.

Paddy Power was hoping to land Tiger after many of his sponsors abandoned him in the wake of the aforementioned sex scandal.  It seems as if both parties would have benefited greatly from the $75 million offer so it seems strange that he would reject the idea of representing a poker site.  After all, where is Woods’ money going to come from since he doesn’t have a whole lot coming in at the moment?  Is he going to live off of the money he has in the bank for the rest of his life?

Maybe he’s counting on getting back into the PGA Tour quicker than expected. He was recently spotted with his golfing swing coach Hank Haney at a course near where he lives called Isleworth Country Club.  Many believe that he is targeting a return in late March, which would possibly see him playing in the Tavistock Cup or the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

In any case, Woods appears to have no interest in the possibility of being any part of the poker world.  After all, if $15 million a year can’t tempt him to represent a poker company, then what kind of offer will?  For the time being, it seems like Tiger Woods is only focused on his golfing career.
